Trinity Health, Minot

Description: Increased number of at-risk patients for heart problems who seek preventative heart health care.

Results Unlimited has been working with Trinity Health as Agency of Record since May 2005. Results Unlimited provides full service marketing, advertising, and public relations services for the regional healthcare center. When Trinity began working with Results, one of their goals included increasing the number of patients who seek preventive care in their heart care center. Goals included catching potential serious health issues before actual heart attacks and associated heart damage occur. As a result of the marketing and advertising services of Results Unlimited, the number of patients seeking preventive heart health care has increased, and potentially saved many lives.

North Dakota American Legion

Description: North Dakota American Legion campaign to assist soldiers coming back from the war with ‘post traumatic stress disorder.’  

Results Unlimited is known for solving problems for our clients.  The North Dakota American Legion came to us with the problem that soldiers are taught to ‘be tough’ and to ‘handle things themselves’. This creates a stigma that is hard to overcome….they are hesitant to ask for help when they need it.  Results Unlimited designed a campaign to overcome that stigma called ‘Courage Carries On’.  We produced radio and TV public service announcements along with brochures, billboards and posters to coordinate with our powerful message, which is: “It takes courage to fight for your country; now have the courage to help yourself’.   There are many different stages to the entire campaign starting with the soldiers asking for help, then the families and how this can affect wives, husbands and kids and the reality of suicidal thoughts and prevention. Results Unlimited donated time and discounted our services as well as obtaining in-kind placement donations on behalf of the North Dakota American Legion.  In order to maximize their media budget for a statewide audience, Results negotiated over $500,000 in free PSAs over a nine month period.

This campaign was so well received that the National American Legion Commander saw our campaign on the North Dakota state level, and requested that they utilize the campaign nationwide. Results Unlimited received an award in February 2010 for our work on the North Dakota American Legion “Courage Carries On” campaign, which has helped so many of our veterans.

West Fargo Police Department

Description: “Breath of Heaven, Life of Hell” Emmy® award-winning Anti-Methamphetamine Project 30 Minute Long-Length Educational Video.

The West Fargo Police Department asked for our help in bringing awareness to the Methamphetamine problem in their community. The police department felt that much of the Fargo-Moorhead and West Fargo community was unaware of the seriousness of the problem in their area. The police department wanted a video that would make citizens aware of the problem, educate them on the drug, and demonstrate examples of the destruction to the lives of both past and current users. The video aired on public access channels, played in schools across the area and shown at different area functions, including employer-led drug education sessions, to educate and create awareness. The hope of the West Fargo Police Department is that once the community is informed and educated, providing further awareness of the dangers and the negative effects of the drug on people’s lives will help discourage and even prevent its use. 

Because it has been so well received, the West Fargo Police Department has had requests to play the educational video in police departments all over the country.

Granite City Food & Brewery

Description: Full service marketing and advertising for large Upper Midwest region upscale yet casual restaurant chain.

Granite City Food & Brewery is a publicly traded company on the NYSE offering a polished casual dining experience. They currently own 26 restaurants across the region covering nine states and nineteen different markets. Results Unlimited provides all print collateral, including brew guides, in-store posters, table talkers, signage, and more. In addition, we recently began network television, cable television, and radio campaigns promoting their brand along with specific promotional ideas. Results Unlimited negotiated as much ‘value added’ as they did in paid advertising to ensure the campaign’s success. Results Unlimited provides 90% of the total marketing and advertising services required for Granite City.

The results for Granite City are that they are seeing significant increases in sales and are growing and looking to expand into new markets.

Celebrity Cruise Lines

Description: High-end cruise ship television film shoot for ongoing marketing and advertising.

Results Unlimited’s video crew recently filmed the largest vacation cruise ship in the nation.   The Solstice is four football fields long with sixteen decks.  There were eight production crews on the ship; and by the time we were finished, the Celebrity folks favored Results Unlimited due to our professionalism, our equipment, our capabilities, and our rapport with their staff.  We were told that we’d definitely be asked back to film other cruise ships for them.

Home of Economy

Results Unlimited has been the Agency of Record for Home of Economy for the past eight years. Home of Economy has several store locations throughout the state and offers hundreds of product lines to their customers.

When we first partnered with Home of Economy, they told us they were “tapped out” in their tire and battery line. They believed they were receiving as much of the market share as possible. Since we began our partnership with Home of Economy, they have seen a signifigant increase every year in this product line.

Another area where they are seeing continuous growth is with a line of name brand pet foods. This year, during a national meeting that retailers of this brand attended, the representatives from the pet food line asked the retailers to raise their hands if they had an increase in sales over the last year. Our client was the only retailer in attendance who raised a hand.

A third line in which Home of Economy has seen major increases is with a major clothing line. Since we started advertising the clothing line for them, they have seen a significant increase in sales.

How have we assisted our client in receiving such phenomenal increases in these three product lines, as well as several other product lines within their stores? By isolating each specific vendor product, researching and working in partnership with the product line vendor to create the most strategic advertising placements, and finally by creating effective and attention-getting print and electronic advertisements that synergistically promote our client as the retailer of choice for these product lines.

Energy Company

An energy company was going to declare bankruptcy and reorganize under a different ownership team.

Goal: To make the information deflect focus away from the bankruptcy and on to a positive restructuring plan. Bottom line, the company would remain active in building a facility in the Minot area.

Timeline: The timeline was important because the energy group wanted to make the announcement about the reorganization on the heels of the bankruptcy announcement. Results Unlimited prepared a press packet and press release that was delivered electronically and physically to media outlets. A press conference was organized and the logo of the new company was unveiled. All of this work occurred within 24 hours.

Delivering Results: The energy company for which we performed this work was very satisfied with Results Unlimited, our work in implementing the public relations plan exactly as planned, and obtaining the desired results.  Media coverage did not focus on the bankruptcy, but instead stories were focused on the new company and its impact on the Minot area.

Burdick Job Corps

Description:   Increase usage of new job training programs offered through Burdick Job Corps.

The Burdick Job Corps was expanding office locations and recruitment efforts in North Dakota. Results Unlimited orchestrated a plan that included press conferences in all major cities, as well as call-in radio interviews with Burdick Job Corps recruiters and key management staff. The goal was to inform parents, students and counselors about Burdick Job Corps and the programs that they offered. In addition to marketing and advertising efforts, including web, collateral materials, and other traditional advertising, Results Unlimited launched the public relations campaign to expand the reach of the traditional efforts and to maximize the organization’s budget.

New programs included a two-year RN program in cooperation with Minot State University and Williston State College, a chef's preparation course that would allow students to transfer to programs like Cordon Bleu and an ASE certified mechanics program that included an internship at local car dealerships.

Results: Burdick Job Corps saw an increase in applications for these programs, and within six months the center was filled to capacity.

Follow Up: Once the center had filled, Results Unlimited worked with Burdick Job Corps to continue interviews and press release information about the success of the programs and the center.
